What started out as a boutique hair accessory company has now grown into an accessory source for the whole family. Families who desire unique, quality pieces for gift-giving, holidays, weddings, reunions, team sports and other special events turn to Chesapeake Ribbons. We also believe in giving by donating regularly a portion of proceeds from specific products to the following organizations – Devereux C.A.R.E.S. School, Autism speaks, and the Susan G. Koman Fund. Learning Allegro

Looking for a fun activity to do with your preschoolers while the old kids are in school?  Do you older children want to learn an instrument?  Learning Allegro does it all!

Learning Allegro’s philosophy is that everyone has an innate ability to appreciate, learn and play music. Mommy and me classes and toddler music circles will develop each child’s musical knowledge through age appropriate songs, rhymes and games. At Learning Allegro, your child will learn music theory and learn it fast , in a fun, energetic environment!

Three types of classes offered:

Precious Preludes Introduce your 6mos-2yr old to the world of music. Parents and babies will sing, dance and play along to all the classic children’s songs.

Creative Crescendos Our 2-4 yr old class builds onto our musical foundation by introducing more advanced music theory concepts. Through games, activities and, of course, playing music, children begin to learn music terminology, styles of music and much more!

Tutti Time In this class the whole family can play and learn together. Tutti time is designed to teach and entertain siblings of all ages. Familiar songs are used so you can continue the musical fun at home.

Join “Team Berrios” for the 2011 Light the Night Walk!

Hi Moms,

I am forming a team for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night Walk, and I hope you will join me.

Light The Night Walk is LLS’s annual walk and fundraising event –and the nation’s night to pay tribute and bring hope to people battling cancer. Teams of friends and families or co-workers raise funds for cancer research and to provide services in their communities. Walkers carry illuminated balloons-white for survivors, red for supporters and gold for those who have lost a loved one to blood cancer.

As you may know, Erin Berrios (a moxie mom) has recently been diagnosed with lymphoma. She has started her chemotherapy treatments at Fox Chase and Paoli. Erin is a mother of two beautiful little girls, Sophia (3) and Mia Rose (10 months).
Erin is fighting back which gives me even more of a purpose to walk, raise money and bring support to those fighting back!

Let’s come together for HOPE! That one day there will be no cancer!
